How to get your credentials

  1. Go to Azure Portal → Microsoft Entra ID → App registrations → New registration
  2. Under Certificates & secrets, create a new Client Secret and copy the value
  3. Under API permissions, add Dynamics 365 Business Central → API.ReadWrite.All
  4. In Business Central, go to Azure Active Directory Applications and grant permission to your app
  5. Copy the Application (client) ID and Directory (tenant) ID from the app overview page
