Privacy Policy

1. Scope

1.1. This policy applies to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central extension published by SS Dynamics Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("SS Dynamics", "we") under the name Indian Tax API (the "App").

1.2. It does not cover data held within Business Central itself, which is governed by your agreement with Microsoft and Microsoft's privacy statement.

2. The App does not send your data to us

2.1. The App runs entirely within your own Business Central environment. It adds API pages that expose Business Central data — customers, vendors, items, locations, sales and purchase documents and their GST details — to callers that Business Central has authenticated through Microsoft's standard OAuth security.

2.2. We do not host, operate or control any service, server or storage in the path between your systems and Business Central. Data returned by the App's endpoints goes directly from your Business Central environment to the application or AI assistant you have authorised, and never passes through SS Dynamics.

2.3. SS Dynamics therefore has no access to, and does not collect, store or process, any personal data through the App.

3. Telemetry and analytics

3.1. The App does not include any telemetry, analytics, tracking or "phone-home" functionality of its own.

3.2. Microsoft may collect platform telemetry about extensions running in Business Central (for example errors or performance signals) in accordance with Microsoft's own privacy statement and your tenant's telemetry settings. This is controlled by Microsoft and by you, not by SS Dynamics.

4. If you contact us

4.1. If you contact us for support, early access or feedback — by email, through our website contact form or through our public source-code repository — we will hold the contact details and the content of your message so that we can respond and keep a record of the request.

4.2. We use this information only to respond to you and to improve the App. We do not sell it or use it for marketing without your consent. Messages posted in a public repository (such as issues) are public.

4.3. We keep support correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and for our internal records, after which it is deleted.

5. Changes to this policy

5.1. We may update this policy. The current version is published at https://ssdynamics.co.in/add-ons/indian-tax-api/privacy/ with its effective date.

6. Contact

6.1. Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to withdraw a consent. Where personal data sits inside a Business Central environment rather than with us, we cannot access it and such requests should be directed to the organization operating that environment.
